Hi everybody. Welcome to my blog where I talk about my past.
So check this out, I borrowed money to build the house. Let’s say it was about a million dollars. That same house I built just sold for about 9 million. Now this house I lost when I had my brain injury. It’s crazy though. I wish I kept it. Anyway, building a house was probably one of the most stressful things I did. I mean, I was lucky, I was working all the time so I could get through it, but man, it was stressful. It was cool though. I could surf right in front of my house. If I saw something really cool, I would go down and photograph it. There was one spot I used to photograph over and over. I put a nail in the ground and went back to the same spot all the time. The house was definitely my dream house. But, sadly, the dream is over. On to the next dream, right?
Man, I’ll tell you, sitting down for 14 years really gets to you. Sometimes I feel like just getting up and running down the street yelling. That would be quite the visual. I’d probably make it about two feet before I fell down. Or I’d make it a few more feet and the police would show up. But, I’ll tell you, it does get to you. And your body changes shape too. They should give my belly a zip code. There must be some sort of work out for people in the wheelchair. I do stand in the standing frame whenever I can. That seems to help. So, I guess my advice to someone who’s in the same situation would be get yourself a standing frame.
That’s about it for this week. I don’t really feel like blogging. I’ll share with you a couple of cartoons on building a house.
Love and miss you guys. Love, B. Nice
