Hi everybody. Welcome to my blog where I talk about my past. I’m gonna dedicate this blog to my sister who is an awesome mom. she raised three kids on her own. Amazing kids. And I’m also dedicating this blog to my friend here who also raised two kids. Amazing kids.
Now I know I’m jumping the gun a bit, but Happy Mother’s Day. I know it’s in a few weeks, but I wanted to get it in because who knows if I’ll be able to blog next week.
Now, I had an amazing mom. She was something else. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for her. She was amazing. She could transfer me. She got me walking doing water therapy (that’s where you walk in the pool). It was pretty cool. She got me to bond more with my daughter by doing things like going fishing, flying a kite. Riding a bike. Try to teach a kid how to ride a bike while you’re in a wheelchair. Good luck. The simple things in life were milestones for me. My mom seemed to know. It was very cool. It’s awesome. My little iPhone plays videos of me and my daughter. My mom shot a lot of footage of me and my daughter. I get a video a day. It’s pretty cool. It’s almost as if she knew she would be gone and she left this footage. My friends and family help as well, but mom took the lead. I remember once my mom flew to Texas to get my kid, and my ex refused to hand her over. I never saw her so mad. Anyway, that’s all in the past. I do miss her though. I do miss my mom. Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms.
I’m gonna leave it at that. It’s like 80 today! Can you believe it? This weather’s crazy, but it’s all a hoax, right?
Love, B. Nice
